Clackmannanshire (Siorrachd Chlach Mhannainn in Gaelic) is one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland, and a Lieutenancy area, bordering onto the areas of Perth and Kinross, Stirling and Fife. It is the smallest unitary council region in Scotland. It is also a traditional county of Scotland, bordering on Kinross-shire, Perthshire and Stirlingshire. As Scotland's smallest historic county, it is often nicknamed "The Wee County". Its main industries include agriculture, brewing, and formerly coal mining. The administrative headquarters are located at Alloa.
